Several nights per week you will have the opportunity to participate in one of the top-class events which make the framework of our entertainment program.

Participants' prior registration at the reception desk is requested.

The areal between the taverna, the pavillon and the pool bar serves as the stage (except in rain). So after dinner you will have the occasion to watch our events right in front of your eyes.

Cretan Night with genuine Cretan delicacies
Whoever comes to Crete for the first time will be surprised how much the Cretan culture differs from the one of the rest of Greece.
Among other reasons, this also follows from the island's exposed geographic location.
So in the course of centuries particular costumes as well as a specifically Cretan music developed where the Lyra comes to the fore as the most important instrument.

Part of it are also the genuine Cretan dances which can be found nowhere else.
|
Tonight's dinner correspondingly accentuates original Cretan elements which the chef adapted to international taste in a clever way.
The following dance show presents most rousing Cretan rhythms. Afterwards they introduce some basic step sequences and everybody is invited to participate.
It will not immediately look as perfect as Alexis Zorbas' dance did, but anyway it will bring lots of fun.

Greek Folklore Night
Everybody knows the Syrtaki dance and the music by Mikis Theodorakis - which however is just a tiny excerpt from the wide spectrum of Greek dances, melodies, and rhythms.
Tonight, dance groups in traditional costumes will introduce you to the whole richness of classic Greek folklore.
There is no getting round Mikis Theodorakis, one of the island's greatest sons.

During the 1960ies and 1970ies, his melodies made the Bouzouki sound popular everywhere in the world.
This night you will hear the songs which in Greece every child can join in - and most of the melodies you will still have in your ear:
It is that certain music that is somehow connected to the aroma of meat spits and stuffed wine leafs.

Magic Night
Chris is one of the post popular magicians in Crete.
He works without any big equipment. Instead, his program includes plenty of small surprises.
In the beginning, he uses the assistance of some pigeons as all magicians do. But then, tricks with most unexpected results accumulate and so does the spectators' spontaneous applause.
|
In the show program's second part, some spectators will have the chance to participate as well.
The program again gets along without any sophisticated technology, and until now none of the assistants ever disappeared.
It is however obvious that the "victims" themselves gain the biggest fun from the story.

Fire on the Dance Floor
This dance show bears it's name with good reason. The actors raise a firework of highest standard entertainment.
Most professional performance e.g. of tango and flamenco elements alternate with imaginative show sequences.
Among others, the program also includes an Irish step dance act which stands any comparison.
