The location of the resort is excellent. It is only 30 miles to the south coast and the imortan archeological site of Phaestos and is very close to the Amari Valley. The latter is a network of virtually unspoiled small villages, which makes for a delightful 3-4 hour drive. We strongly recommend a visit to both of these places. Closer to the resort, the best place to eat is "Marems", which is only a few steps away. The beach is 200 yards away, and the resort has a lovely pool area. the layout of the resort is very relaxing, with two story units with their own balcony or porch.

Was very impressed with Leoniki Residence. Location and amenities very good and the staff are very anxious to please. Our apartment was adequate for 4 adults with every facility for self-catering. We preferred Rethymnon for browsing and Platanes for eating. Will certainly holiday in the Residence again as the Leoniki lived up to our and our guests expectations.

Had a great week! April is a perfect time for visiting. No crowds on the roads, at the tourist sites nor in the restaurants. Weather was great!
